The breeze and the sound of the surf are both challenge and background to your tee off. But this 18-hole championship course, at 72-6 par and 404 yards, just 10 minutes away from Zamboanga City, is your real vacation haven. Its front nine holes are laid out on flat ground while the back nine are on slopes, with lush trees in between. Seaward, of course, is the one-kilometer stretch of the Beach Park.

Play golf by the beach in the Philippines’ “City of Flowers,” where Filipino-Hispanic cultural heritage and Muslim tradition meet. Zamboanga is less than 864 km from Manila and is closer to Malaysia and Indonesia. It has its own international airport.
